Samsung Malaysia Announces Price Revision for Galaxy A07 and Galaxy A17

Samsung Malaysia today announced a revision to the recommended retail prices (“RRP”) of the Galaxy A07 and Galaxy A17, effective 27 July 2026.

The revision reflects the continued increase in global component costs, particularly for memory chips and RAM, driven by growing demand from AI infrastructure and data centre expansion. As these components are essential across a wide range of consumer electronics, the cost of memory components has continued to rise in recent quarters. Despite ongoing efforts to absorb these rising costs and minimize the impact on consumers, the current market environment has made a price revision necessary.
