Realme P4 Lite

Nowadays, most smartphones are trying too hard to impress with flashy specs and crazy fast charging numbers. But honestly, for most people, what really matters is simple, all they want would be good battery life, smooth performance, and a phone that can last properly for years without giving trouble. That’s exactly where the realme P4 Lite comes in.

This phone is not trying to become some ultra premium flagship killer. Instead, it focuses on giving users a reliable everyday experience with a massive battery, smooth display, gaming friendly features, and strong durability. realme were kind enough to send us the realme P4 Lite in the Titan Grey color and first things first, let’s get into the specifications of the device itself.

Packaging Content

The device comes with a rather generous offering. You get a power brick(15W USB A-C), a USB A-C cable, pre-applied screen protector, paperworks and a silicon casing to shield the device further. This is a great move by realme considering how that even flagships today do not come bundled with a power brick or casing.

Design & Build

The first thing that surprised me about the realme P4 Lite is how slim it feels despite having a huge 7000mAh battery inside. Usually, phones with batteries this big end up feeling like bricks in the hand. But somehow realme managed to keep this phone just 8.38mm thin, which is honestly impressive.

The design also looks quite modern and youthful. The right side of the device is where the volume rocker and power buttons are located. Moving down to the bottom, you’d find the USB C and speaker grills. What’s even more fascinating is at the bottom you’d find a 3.5mm audio jack. THIS IS HUGE! Given how wired headphones are actually making a come back, this is sure to be a unique selling point for the device.

The Titan Grey colour gives a clean and professional vibe, while Pulse Purple feels more energetic and gamer oriented. The rounded corners also make the phone comfortable to hold for long periods, especially during gaming or binge watching sessions. Overall, the phone doesn’t look cheap at all and feels really solid.

Display

The phone comes with a large 6.8 inch HD+ display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. Now obviously, this is not some flagship AMOLED display with ultra premium visuals. But for normal everyday usage, the screen actually feels quite nice.

The 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel smoother:

  • Instagram scrolling feels fluid
  • Animations look cleaner
  • Gaming feels more responsive
  • General usage feels faster overall

Once you start using a 120Hz display, going back to 60Hz honestly feels slow. The screen also reaches up to 900 nits brightness, so outdoor visibility is pretty decent under sunlight. Another good thing is the DC Dimming feature, which helps reduce eye strain during long usage sessions. So if you spend lots of time watching videos, gaming, or scrolling social media late at night, this actually helps.

User Interface

The realme P4 Lite is powered by the Unisoc T7250 processor. This is not a flagship chipset meant for hardcore gaming or heavy editing work. But for regular daily usage, the phone performs quite well. Apps open smoothly, multitasking feels decent, and casual gaming runs without major issues.

For things like:

  • WhatsApp
  • YouTube
  • TikTok
  • Instagram
  • Casual games
  • Browsing

…the phone handles everything comfortably.

Battery Life

This is where the arsenal in the 7000mAh juice pack comes to shine. If there’s anything I’d say, it’s that this thing just keeps going. This is the kind of phone made for people who:

  • Travel often
  • Game for long hours
  • Use hotspot regularly
  • Watch lots of videos
  • Hate charging phones multiple times a day

You can comfortably use this phone throughout the entire day without stressing about battery percentage. Additionally, realme claims over 10 hours of Free Fire gameplay, which is honestly crazy for this segment.

What’s even better is that realme is also focusing on long term battery health. According to them, the battery is designed to maintain good health even after 1600 charge cycles, with support for up to 6 years of battery durability. That’s actually important nowadays because most people don’t change phones every single year anymore. The phone also supports:

  • 15W charging
  • 6W reverse charging

The charging speed is not super fast, but honestly that’s expected considering the battery size. realme clearly prioritised battery endurance over ultra fast charging here.

Gaming Features

realme has also added several gaming focused software optimisations under something called “AI Gaming Partner.” This includes features like:

  • Performance boosting
  • Network optimisation
  • RAM cleanup
  • Do Not Disturb mode
  • Game launcher management

Individually, these may sound small. But together, they genuinely improve the gaming experience. The phone also comes with a large graphite cooling system to manage heat better during long gaming sessions. So while this isn’t some ultra powerful gaming beast, it still delivers a stable and enjoyable gaming experience for casual gamers.

Camera

Overview

Let’s be honest here. Nobody buying the realme P4 Lite is expecting DSLR level photography or flagship camera performance. This phone is clearly designed more for battery life, smooth daily usage, and reliability. In addition to that, the 8MP camera experience is still quite decent for normal users. For social media content, casual photography, food shots, family pictures, and everyday moments, the camera does the job well enough.

Durability

One thing I genuinely like about this phone is that realme didn’t ignore durability. The phone comes with ArmorShell protection along with MIL STD 810H shock resistance certification. Basically, it’s built to survive daily accidents better than regular phones. It also has an IP64 rating, meaning it can handle dust and water splashes without much issue. There are also some practical features like:

  • Wet Hand Touch support
  • speaker cleaning function using sound vibration

These small additions actually become useful in real life situations.

AI Features

The realme P4 Lite also includes several AI based tools like:

  • AI Eraser
  • AI Clear Face
  • AI Image Matting

AI Eraser is probably the most useful one because it allows you to remove unwanted people or objects from photos easily. The Mini Capsule feature is another nice touch. It gives quick access to things like music controls, battery info, ride hailing updates, and notifications directly near the status bar. realme also promises a 4 year fluency guarantee, meaning the phone should continue feeling smooth even after years of usage.

Verdict

The realme P4 Lite may not be the most powerful phone in the market, but honestly, that’s not the point of this device. This phone is all about:

  • long battery life
  • reliable daily performance
  • smooth user experience
  • practical features
  • strong durability

And for many users, that’s honestly more important than crazy benchmark scores. The biggest strength of this phone is balance. You get a massive battery without an overly bulky design, decent performance without overheating issues, and useful features that actually matter in day to day life. For students, working adults, casual gamers, or anyone who simply wants a dependable phone with excellent battery life, the realme P4 Lite looks like a very solid option in its category.

Our Rating : 6 out of 10.
