The digital-out-of-home upgrade kicks off with a Galaxy Unpacked takeover as Samsung announces its all-new Galaxy Z foldable smartphone series.
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 23 July 2026 – Samsung Malaysia Electronics has once again pushed the boundaries of innovation beyond mobile experiences and consumer electronics, transforming CuBig @ KLCC Junction into an immersive spectacle to celebrate the global launch of the all-new Galaxy Z series.
In conjunction with the Galaxy Unpacked event on 22 July, Samsung took over the iconic digital out-of-home (DOOH) platform with a series of videos featuring the all-new Galaxy Z series, as well as a custom-built physical model of the Galaxy Z Fold8, a new form factor in Samsung’s foldable lineup. The larger-than-life installation blurred the lines between the digital and physical worlds – mirroring the transformative experience of Samsung’s latest foldable innovation.
The newly revamped CuBig @ KLCC Junction, which wraps around the façade of Bangunan Getah Asli, utilizes 984 Samsung LED display panels, spanning an impressive 237.3 feet in width and 37.8 feet in height, making it one of the most recognizable DOOH canvases in the city center. Since the introduction of the site in May 2021, CuBig @ KLCC Junction has become a landmark destination for premium digital storytelling, providing Samsung with the perfect stage to unveil its latest foldable innovation to millions of Malaysians.
As Samsung continues to redefine what is possible for mobile experiences, the Galaxy Unpacked takeover at CuBig @ KLCC Junction demonstrates that innovation extends beyond the device itself.
