In addition to SSD password protection and TPM 2.0, the new TravelMate models feature an optional chassis intrusion alarm designed to help deter hardware tampering and unauthorised access. If the device’s bottom cover is opened, a tamper-evident alert is triggered and a warning message will appear on the next boot until authorised IT personnel review and clear the intrusion status through the BIOS security menu.
For added design and usability enhancements, the TravelMate P2 14 features new line-patterned hinges that combine a refined premium look with improved durability, while the TravelMate P4 Spin comes with 360-degree hinges, allowing users to switch between four modes for greater flexibility in presentations, collaboration and individual work.

CB2 Series Vero Monitors: Productivity with Sustainability in Focus
Complementing the Veriton desktops is the new CB2 Series Vero monitor lineup, which combines visual performance, ergonomic comfort and environmentally conscious design for today’s workplaces. The series includes the CB272 G, CB272K L2 and CB242Y D6, offering options suited to everyday office productivity, professional creative work and hybrid collaboration.
The Acer Vero CB272 G features an IPS Full HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth, clear and flicker-free visuals. It also supports AdaptiveSync and is compatible with FreeSync and G-SYNC, while 1ms Visual Response Boost (VRB) helps improve motion clarity. For businesses and professionals requiring sharper visuals and broader connectivity, the Acer Vero CB272K L2 offers 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 support and a wide DCI-P3 95% colour gamut for enhanced image accuracy. It also supports USB Type-C with 90W power delivery, enabling simpler cable management and convenient device charging, while features such as PIP/PBP, Acer Display Widget support and Dynamic Frequency Resolution for Full HD at 144Hz further enhance workflow flexibility.
Meanwhile, the Acer Vero CB242Y D6 is designed for modern hybrid work, integrating a 5MP webcam with built-in microphone array to support seamless video conferencing and virtual collaboration.
